Salt Lake City 13.1

 Last year Mikes family signed up for the Salt Lake half marathon.  In Decemeber Jenna found out she was pregnant, Lucky me. I finally got to run my first half Marathon and run in Jennas place. I am finally a true DeRoest! Jenna watched the boys for us, usually I am on the side lines. Mike and I ran together and our unofficial time according to our running watch was 1:56. My goal was to do it in under two hours, it was close but we made it. This was one of the hardest things I have ever done, it is still hard for me to imagine Mike has done a full Marathon crazy man.

We are in Washington for Easter, and went hiking the canyon in the rain with all the cousins.

A little yoga on the beach

Venice beach, the best people watching of any place I have ever been.

The first day we went to Venice beach, the weather was perfect. The second day we went to the fashion district and founds some deals then we went to Santa Monica Pier and did the amusement park. The last day we went to the Long Beach Aquarium. We stayed with Aunt Nikki in Korea town, which was a fun little adventure. The parking was crazy but all the food was amazing.

Kooper had his Birthday party today, just a nice small party with some neighbors.

Heat wave...

We took advantage of the heat wave to go hike Snow Canyon in St. George. I would like to point out it was January 3rd with shorts and t shirts. Ryan and his kids came to visit us for a couple days, we had so much fun hiking and swimming and the kids played hours of Wii.
